Help Sidekick 4G freezing?

My device started lagging and everytime I hit the home button it would go to a blank homescreen and freeze there for a bit then jump back to the normal home screen. I deleted some media and apps and the problem went away. Does it have anything to do with memory? Advice... Noob here.

My wife's does the same thing. A casual look on google reveals that this appears to be a bug in Samsung's modified touchwiz that is running on this phone. My wife's sidekick4g freezes like that at least 5 times a week, and sometimes several times/day. I have factory reset it twice and not loaded any apps back with no effect. I have swapped out the sd card, which also had no effect. Samsung needs a bug fix for this as they were not ready for prime time with this kind of bug that needs a battery pull multiple times weekly.

:mad:I've had mine since June and it has started freezing up quite a bit. Earlier I simply tried to return a phone call and was sent to messaging, home page, black screen, messaging and back to black screen. WTF?? My old Sidekick LX was quick, reliable and I could make phone calls and send text message in just seconds.

I got my sidekick 4g when it first came out and had no problems but in the past few weeks my phone will freeze up on me, when I go to reply to a text, I touch the text and then the screen goes black and then goes to the home page or when I try to scroll through the menus it will freeze for a couple of seconds. I have to take my battery out for it to work again and then after I take the battery out I get text messages that were not being sent or emails. Does anybody know what I could do to fix it? HELP!!!
