Help noise of keys on atrix

From the homescreen, menu>settings>sound settings>...

Yes, this would be the logical place to control ANY sound setting on the phone, but even turning OFF every item under Feedback (Touch Tones, Selection, Screen Lock) meant that the key kept on clicking away !!!

The designers have ended up being user-vicious, by putting the keyboard-click control accessible in only ONE very hidden location -

1. Open the Keyboard
2. HOLD the ?123 key
3. Click "Multi-touch Keyboard setting"
4. Unselect "Sound on Keypress"
5. Curse the software designer for making it so hard to find.

Actually you can get to the same area from Settings>Language And Keyboard>Multi Touch Keyboard> Sound on Keypress.
