Body Glove vs case-mate for Sensation

I too am using the Body Glove and as I said in another post, the only problem I'm having with it is the finish its peeling like a bad sunburn on the surface edges. On the upside though, it's strong as all hell! I'm loving the super secure fit and the contour of it. It complements the phone rather than adding bulk to it. If the finish becomes too unsightly though, I may go back to gel based cases.

FWIW, I'm using the Body Glove case w/kickstand. I've had one before on another phone. It offers decent protection, but I got it primarily for the kickstand.

If the other poster was stating that the same case is "hard to get off", mine fell from the dashboard of my car to the car's floor, and the phone popped right out of the case. Both pieces of the case became completely separated as the phone landed on its corner.

Wow, really! One thing I have to say about this phone, it's the first phone that as long as I've had it, I've never had to take the back off to take out the battery. Thankfully so because it's somewhat of a pain anyway. In any event, even if I wanted to which I've tried with the Body Glove case on, I couldn't get the case off. Granted, when I'm initially put it on the phone I pounded the hell out of it to make sure it was tight, and it is. This fits better than the Speck Candy case I had for the G2X, which I thought was the tightest case.I would ever own.

DEFINITELY go with the CASE-MATE cases....either barely there or the tough case depending on your taste....personally I got a tough case from case-mate and I have not regret it since. case-mate usually make the best cases and I have used them for my blackberries, vibrant, mytouch 4g and now my sensation. The body glove is a 2 piece case....right there should tell you how much protections it's gonna give you....NOT MUCH! as soon as it hits the ground of any surfaces that you drop it on is gonna pop open. need to go with a one piece case. Hope this helps.

It's not like an engineer would use every resource he could to displace energy from a drop. That's just crazy.

i posted here before saying the case mate barley there is great...it was.

i have one, and my parter has one on her phone,
but now there is a crack in each corner about a centimeter long, neither phone has been dropped, or handled roughly.

so not Quite the quality i initially thought.

has anyone else had this problem with this case
