New Droid

my stepson says "embrace your borg overlords...assimilate with a smile." It's been challenge from my 6 yr. old trusty Palm Treo, but I think the droid platform is brilliant.

Love the new Droid Eris, but battery life terrible and the processor not so fast. Should I have bought the Motorola version w/ keyboard? I hear that Verizon is coming out with an extended life battery soon, also better software.

to answer your question about the extended battery i would say just go onto amazon, and buy the seido extended battery for your droid its the only thing keeping me on this thing i can do without the capabilities although they wow me but i need a good battery since im a power user, and i think this will suite us palm treo and blackberry transplants well
