Help urgent..!!galxaxy ace info..!!

hi..guys..!!i am planning to buy an android phone...n thinking it to be an ace..!!my basic needs are... 1)games like angry birds,nfs,asphalt,pes or fifa,skies of glory, n many other games..low or high graphics..!!

2)can i play videos frm ny site...nt jus frm youtube..!!n is flash available to it...or can it be upgradeable..

3)is this phone gud at reading pdf or ebook files at gud clarity..?

4)n the voice input of the phone..can it type text when i edit any doc..or nly for messaging,n can yu guys tell me abt free calling through skype or ny other app wich uses the front cam..??

5)n da last as posted in many forums abt rooting..as i am a newbie could you guys explain me the meaning nd uses of rooting..??

planning to buy this phone this august..n if it meets my requirements..i'd go for it..!! so plzz..help me..!!

HI, (please press the thanks if this helps) - most of this is on the forum already!

1- angry birds and most other games work. Some you may need to download from other sources (not market) as they needed to be ported to HVGA screen
2 - Currently flash does not work (although it is coming for armv6 processors at some point) but i use skyfire for all web videos. Only thing i cannot get to work is the BBC iplayer.
3- I comes with thinkfree office (full app) in uk which is great for reading / editing of docs (word,exel,pdfs etc)
4- Voice input only works if you set to US in voice recognition but will work when ever the on screen keyboard comes up (there is a button on the keyboard)
5 - rooting allows you to gain access to the root of your phone. try ROOTING
6 - some phones do have a sleep of death error but not all (the latest firmware being rolled out should fix it)

Skyfire plays most videos. Certainly enough for me. PM me for a link to games when you get your phone

The Desire is a higher level of phone so natuarlly supports it but the wildfire is not as good as ace.

What do you actually need flash for?? as i said skyfire plays almost all videos anyway and is free to download!!

Hi friends,
I am using Samsung Galaxy Ace with Android 2.3.4... In that mobile I have a problem when i am giving voice input(By pressing Microphone button) in Messages typing mode option it shows, "Connection Error". The error occur only in message voice input only. Other voice services like internet, google search are working well. How to solve message voice input error in Android 2.3.4.. please help me.. Thanks in advance..
