Looking for info comparing Seido extended to Htc extended batteries

Has anyone compared these 2 batteries?

I am wondering if the Seido (3200) extended battery which says it has more mAh really last longer than the Htc (2750) extended battery?

I think this would help people make an informed choice between the two batteries.

If I were you I wouldn't even bother with either of those ugly looking things. I would get something like THIS and then swap batteries when need be. I have one of those batteries and it yields me an extra 4-6 hours. If you add that up with all 3 you're looking at about the same you'd get from the 3200/2700 brick's and your phone still keeps it's sexy shape.

Just my $0.02. As far as your question. There are a few extended battery threads. If you do a forum search they will probably have your answer

I'm wondering the same thing. Is there any real differences between the Seidio and the HTC extended batteries? I'm looking to buy one.

No thanks to the cheap Chinese batteries. I dont want to pull my phone apart every 4 hours... I'd rather have an extended battery.

No matter which way you extended battery lovers cut it, that thing is UGLY as sin and you should all be ashamed of yourselves for rocking one of them

another vote for the 1800 mah batteries, gives me a few extra hours over stock while still using stock cases/backs

If you are like me and can't stand being tethered to a wall, go with the biggest battery you can find. I bought the Seidio 3500 for the EVO and I bought the 3200 for the TB. My phone is in constant use about 12-14 hrs a day (work hazard). I didn't buy it to look pretty. My day starts at 6am and the old bat would typically die before noon just being used as a phone. Use it as a hotspot=instant death.

Now I just stick it on the charger at night and I don't have to think about it. I don't turn on and off the GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, I let the 4G hunt for signal when it wants to, I run live wallpaper, leave the brightness on high, never kill any apps, I push through all email accounts, I allow the higest level of syncing, and I don't do any of those other tweeks that "enhance" battery life and cripple the capabilities of my device.

For those of you that are evaluating the sex appeal of your phone...

Enough said.

***I will warn that it is heavier and most cases/docks will no longer fit, but for me, that is a reasonable tradeoff for being able to be mobile.

If you're an average user, the standard battery actually lasts me most of the day, but I'm usually able to plug it into a charger if I need to. If you feel like you need an extended battery, the Seidio has about 450 mAh more than the Verizon. It's also about $20.00 more and you're probably not going to notice much difference in the battery time for the extra $20.00. I have the Verizon and I don't think it's ever dropped lower than 60% and I consider my usage about average. Some texting, an occasional phone call and some 4G surfing if I need to get on the internet and I don't have access to a computer. I didn't really need the extended battery, I just had the I wants and I've come to prefer it. I almost never use my car charger any more.

There doesn't seem to be much in between with the looks. People either hate the look or don't mind it, but I've found that a lot of the people who complain about the look of it have never seen a TBolt with the extended battery outside of a photograph. The look doesn't bother me at all and it gives me a better grip on the phone, but I've always valued function over form anyway. I also don't like having to crack my phone open once or twice a day to swap batteries and eventually I'd probably drop it while prying the back off.

Just remember that if you like using a case, that's going to be an extra expense. I like the Seidio surface for extended batteries. It has a built in kickstand that unlike the TBolts, will support the phone from either side so I can use it in landscape and still charge it. As mentioned, it won't fit in most docks, but I consider spending about $60.00 to charge my phone a waste of money when all I need to do is plug in a micro USB cable. There is a little extra weight, but it only adds a few ounces.

Not to a jerk here, but who cares about what others think? And it's pretty obvious this isn't the same phone Zakk Morris rocked. Many People use cases on their phone so now we need to open the case and the phone both. If I had the stock battery I would rock the otterbox defender case and no way I would want to open it daily. Cases aren't made to be took apart that often it would wear the clips out and stretch the outer rubber loose quick. Not everyone needs the Tbolt to look like it does in the advertisements all naked with stock battery. In the real world People use their phones and need protection around them so they in fact don't look like crap with a cracked screen or damage. We have insurance options, but $100 for a refurb if only 100% necessary. Besides that if we are out and about all day somewhere who wants to carry extra batteries with them?

I have the 2750 HTC battery. I would go with that, it last plenty long and it's the official real battery for the phone. get the real battery and door.
