I'm so disappointed that I have not been able to get the sideload push yet after MANY chats and calls to ATT. The atrix.now has 2.3 and sideloading capabilities. I'm in the 30 day buyer remorse period so I could trade for the difference in price. ATT is saying 2.3 should be released very soon for the inspire and should take.care of.the sideload issues.

Question is, should I take the chance that the 2.3 upgrade will resolve.it for.the Inspire (I will be over 30 days by then) or just trade for an atrix and update it to 2.3?????

I'm co conflicted. I love the inspires build and.display compared to the atrix. But.the sideload bs is just making me mad.......

I am feeling the same way. Also the size of the Atrix is better and the phone is lighter however the screen on the Inspire is better. I am so stuck between the two as well. I wish they could come up with a phone that has features of both of them put together now that would be an amazing phone. I guess it is best to spend some time with both and figure it out for yourself.

just curious why you can't get the sideloader to work? im probably the newest droid user on the planet and i got the sideloader to work last night on my inspire?

Because AT&T seems unable to push the update to some phones. They couldn't push it to mine, the last guy finally suggested I contact HTC. I did the temp root method instead.

I just decided to keep the inspire. I looked at the Atrix again and i HATE it's build.........and the screen blows. 2.3 is already available for the Atrix that's why I was considering switching. But it should be ready for the Inspire very soon. At least according to the local ATT mobile sales rep......

we'll see. The sideloading isn't a huge deal, just would like the capability seeing it's what drew me away from the iOS.
