How can i keep the old market layout? The new market layout sucks, don't like it at all. I can go to settings/application and remove market, which puts it back to old. but the dang thing updates to the new layout. How can i keep it the old layout???
I'm not half so agitated by the layout as I am by the fact that it went and linked every email address on my phone to my apps. I run three Google Calendars off this phone, and now I'm getting notices for every dang one of them when there's an update to the apps.
Did anyone ask for this? No. Is anyone so dumb as to really need three notifications for the same software to be sent to the same device? God I hope not!
I also don't like how app searches now return books and movies. I've never in my life downloaded a book or a movie from the app store and I have zero intention of ever doing so. My ebooks are specifically purchased to be non-device specific, because I read on both a kindle (.AZW format) and on my phone using Moon+ (ePub). I'm not buying some proprietary crap from these buffoons.
I also have to say that allowing 1200 character app reviews from a computer, and only 160 character reviews from a phone is equally dumb, but if we're going to frost this cake of stupid, it's that the app market won't let me review an app I just deleted from my phone because it didn't work. You have to physically have the app still on your phone in order to review it from that phone. What makes this so dumb is that you can log into your account and review ANYTHING from a computer.
Between the overpriced and buggy HTC Sensation that doesn't even allow bluetooth file transfer or printing (even though it claims to do so-- HTC never made Win7 drivers, so the device will "Pair" but not "connect."), and the botch job of just about everything Google associated with android (Calendars don't display properly, apps like Google music are forced onto the user, the app market is a gigantic fail), there is no part of the Android system from start to finish that is EVER going to "kill" the iPhone.
So... yeah. I can't stand Apple, but Google is doing everything in their power to make me legitimately HATE Android.
