Help Where to download 3D movies

Is there a way to download 3D movies from the phone? Or do they have to be downloaded on your computer then copied over? (if on the computer where do you download them from?)

Lots of good ones on YouTube. Search for 3D Maestro and Go Pro 3D. They will lead you to lots of good stuff.

Thanks, I forgot about the blockbuster app. Now is there a way to filter the movies so only 3d ones show or is there any identifier to know if they are in 3d?

I'm interested to know this as well. I can't find any setting or filter to do this. I can't believe they're charging $15 to buy a movie for your phone though...

I see an average around $4 to rent and $15 to buy. I haven't been able to figure out what sort of 3D content is available.

I just downloaded Battle LA last night from blockbuster, and it is not in 3d. however, it supposedly was not recorded in 3d because of all the shaky hand camera work. So I too am still looking for a cheaper way to find out what movies are 3d, and which ones aren't. What the help is taking so long to get this figured out? Lol

It really does suck to not have that kind of content available on Watch or Blockbuster. When Sprint and HTC designed this phone, you would think they would have put forth a joint venture with those companies to provide full length 3D movies. I mean, if Sprint is going to feature their apps in their advertising, and make it a standard feature on the phone, the least they could have done was to have them make a few 3D movies available for rental or purchase. Knowing me, I'm certain I would have bought at least two or three 3D movies by now.

You're probably right, but being in the industry a career ago, that's just bad marketing. And for some EVO 3D owners, probably a deal breaker for them to be repeat customers for the next generation of HTC 3D phones, if HTC should continue to make them.

That's like selling a car without the gas in it... Someone on Sprint's side should have planned ahead, and thought out what available content and apps could be applied to this phone, since the 3D feature is their main selling point... That's all I'm saying.

Maybe they figure people will play with the camera, camcorder features and 3D games long enough to forget about the other 3D features the phone is capable of. But seeing as that it's an entertainer's device, I don't see why they might assume that. I just hope we will start to see 3D apps coming along soon. The revolving home screen carousel or weather animations would have been a start.

Don't get me wrong though, I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this phone. I just wish there was more exploration into the 3D feature it has.

Watch is one of my default widget screens, so I see the new releases and "recommends" on a daily basis. Unfurtunately, none of those movies are in 3D. Which kind of goes back to my original point.

Well I ended up getting the 32gb class10 micro SD card this weekend, and decided to upload a couple of digital movies that I converted to the MP4 format. Nothing in 3D, but HD quality movies that I've enjoyed over the years. I'm really hoping I get a hold of Avatar in 3D, and a couple of other 3D movies. In the mean time, me and my coworkers are enjoying my new smartphone quite a bit.

I know Vudu has a streaming service that lets you rent and buy movies. It has a 3D section where you can find lots of 3D movies too.

HTC and Sprint should have worked something out with Vudu to get an app on this phone.

I think some company had an exclusive on Avatar 3D so you can't get it from anyone else yet (assuming their exclusive hasn't expired yet). I think you had to buy a bluray player or tv or something form them and they would include the Avatar bluray or something.

So I found a few Amazon 3D for sale on Amazon, and they all say "Panasonic exclusive Avatar 3D promotional Blu-ray disc. Not available in stores."
