Hey guys, I have a quick question for you.

What would happen if I decided to put a Boxwave Anti-Glare ON TOP of my Ghost Armor crystal clear screen?

I got Ghost Armor after I had already ordered my boxwave online (I'm impatient and saw the Ghost Armor kiosk at the local mall and went for it).

My boxwave anti-glare is coming tomorrow or the next day, and I don't know which to stick with!

I like the touch response of the Ghost Armor, but when I watch movies on it during my morning commute, it's glary as heck. Especially in the afternoon.

So, what would happen? Would it totally suck? Would it even stick on?

if u are getting more glare than u want, get the anti glare (makes sense).. if u want to retain the spectacular crystal clear glass then go with the crystal i got the crystal and its great.

Agreed. If you are at all concerned about the glare then go with the anti-glare. Personally, I get the Crystal Clear knowing that the glare is going to be very obvious but I dont care because the optical clarity is number one in my book. I rarely use my Droid in the car anyways.

I have offered alot of advice over the years but this one has me stumped I am not sure why anybody would want to do that? I cant see it ending up well with them both on the screen, its not gonna look good and I would guess the sensitivity will suffer , so my advice to you would be to pull of the GA , just off the screen, and use the BoxWave instead.

Thats the ideal set-up for these kinds of devices, a nice military type film full body protection and a BoxWave on the screen

I now have the anti glare boxwave on. A PIA to put on, but it looks decent now. Brightness is still good. Only question I have is, in white backgrounds there is kind of a rainbow effect. Now I DID wash and reapply a few times, so is this normal? Will it go away?

On a side note, I find the feel of the screen to be much better, and even typing is improved, for some reason.

If you just put the screen protector on, the rainbow effect is completely normal. All it is really is a bit of trapped moisture underneath the screen protector during washing/application.

Give it a few hours (or like a day, depending on how much moisture is trapped under there) and it will evaporate and look normal.

I just decided to take off the GA. Ill return it tomorrow. I like the feel of the boxwave anti glare a LOT better. Feels much less rubbery and scratchable.

Good call buddy, and I agree with you 100%. After seeing my screen go from PS to BoxWave within a few minutes time there is no question in my mind that the BoxWave is the better protector for the screen.

I would, but I'm at work with no other camera. I can tell you that, with brightness, it doesn't take too much away from it. If your brightness without the anti-glare is a 10, it's probably an 9.5 with the anti-glare on. (after applying the protector on, I turned the brightness all the way up in "settings").

Fingerprints and smudges are still there, but WAY WAY less. Very easy to wipe off.

No, I didn't use anything for the body on my Droid for 2 reasons, 1 because it seems to be a far better built device than the plastic HTC devices I had previously and 2 I wasn't sure how well it would adhere to the rubber backing on the Droid. Overall I am not worried about it, this device is built like a tank. I have used the hell out of it for almost 3 months now and not a single scratch nor wear mark can be found on it. Any of my Touch Pros or Touch Pro 2's delicate plastic would be covered with little scratches by now without protection.

Got the boxwave crystal today. Installed perfectly in like 2 seconds and its great!! The skinomi was bad, all the wetness, bubbles, the feel... This feels geat and NO BUBBLES!! Highly recommend this screen protector.

I got my Boxwave anti-glare screen protector yesterday and I have to say how VERY pleasantly surprised I am. Although a few people have talked about slight loss in screen clarity, I think clairity is overall better because there's no glare/reflection and I can easily see my screen in bright sunlight and from any angle. Fingerprints are substantially minimized and the touch sensitivity is completely unimpacted, although it feels greatly improved because the surface is so silky smooth. Although Boxwave protectors are more expensive than a lot of others I looked at, now that I have one and it's on my Droid, I can confidently say you get more than you pay for with this one.

I am looking to buy the boxwave and I was looking at anti-glare because I am worried about glare when using it in the car dock as a GPS unit. Anyone with either one able to comment on the effect of these in the sun? Thanks in advance.

you might want to get the Crystal, I hear that Google is going to release a night vision of their googlemaps?

Also if anyone ever gets dust stuck on their ClearTouch during the installation process, I would suggest getting a piece of scotch tape to remove it! Always works for me~

I have had both protectors. Eventhough the clear is more visible it does maKe it harder to see in the sun and leave more prints. The anti glare is a tad darker but cuts the glare and definitely does not leave prints. I prefer the anti glare by clarivue.

Boxwave rock. I've used both clear and antiglare. Theanti glare seems to actually make the touch screen work even better then naked. TIP FOR INSTALLING BOXWAVE: Lay your phone horizontally on a table infront of you and align the protector on the edge closest to you. The apply it from bottom to top.

Just wanted to voice my support of the crystal protector. I've had it for about a month now and love it. A co-worker of mine has the verizon protector and it looks horrible; bubbles everywhere and it even looks like it might just fall right off. That being said, I do have 3 small scratches on mine now from keeping it in my pocket with my chapstick. I might try to find a sleeve or something to put it in when it's in my pocket.

third time trying and i gave up trying to make this go on better than i have it. they cut this protector so close to the edge that i can't seem to get it to line up correctly, and when i do, there always seems to be a corner or something that appears to be not adhere'd to the screen. its only like a couple cm's long but i got too frustrated to even want to try and fix it. i'd prolly make it worse if i tried again. (spent like an hour n a half trying to maneuver it) ;\
