Phone getting hacked?

Hey, first post on here.

For whatever reason I now have no credit left on my phone and I cannot call anyone. I have received 9-10 messages like "Transaction Failed - Insufficient Funds". Now I know I have not tried to make any transactions.

I'm not really sure whats going on here. I thought my credit might have expired after a month or so. But I keep getting these messages every half hour or so.

Could my phone be getting "hacked" somehow? How can I get rid of them, delete all my apps or something? Not sure what to do.

Ok I will, so if I am getting hacked that means I need a new sim? I can't just reset my phone or whatever?

It depends on what services you have. If you have data on your service, there are apps that consistently check and/or download. Your carrier can tell you by looking up your usage. Facebook was a big offender. It constantly checked for new posts and updates.
