I had my phone hooked up to the computer via USB cable, and by using Verizon Media Manager and also Windows Explorer, I deleted some pictures. Went back to the phone later and they were still showing there. I tried to delete them from the phone and the DELETE option was greyed out.
I removed all pictures from my SD card and moved them to my laptop so they are relatively safe now
I used Astro Filemanager, renamed the SD's CAMERA and THUMBNAILS file to CAMERAX and THUMBNAIL X. The gallery would not load. No problem. I took a picture, found a rebuilt CAMERA folder with the one picture in it, and a rebuilt THUMBNAIL folder with a couple of things in it, so I deleted the renamed "X" versions thinking that would fix things.
Went to the gallery and it shows 503 pictures on the camera roll, and 900+ on the all photos tab. The picture thumbnails don't show up, only a graphic of a picture frame.
Looked in astro file manager again and it only shows the one picture in the camera folder, a short thumbnail folder with pcictures plus a few mail download pictures, and nothing in the spmo folder. Somewhere the system is telling the camera that there are more pictures than there are. Any ideas on where to look?
Thanks!
