Seems very interesting, especially the part about Froyo memory parameters.

Flashed this a few hours ago. So far, so good. Still a lot of tweaking to do to get everything the way I want it. I need to learn more about the memory settings before diving in...

Super smooth and quick so far. I lose 3g as soon as I place a call. That's why I couldnt run the last version. I'm sure there's a fix but I havent found it.

Running PE v6.5 since yesterday evening. Seems pretty smooth, had occasional redrawing of home screen even though I have it locked in memory. Camera froze up on me once after taking a picture. Tried the default kernel as well as 2 of the v3 kernels available in the PE settings (1 Ghz, LV and SV), all of them are running pretty warm / hot on my droid, but they might be just fine on other droids. I gonna give Chevy's 1 Ghz kernel a shot tomorrow to see how it behaves with this ROM. Had luck with that kernel on SS 5.4.

Gonna keep PE for a couple more days to let things settle in and check it out some more, but chances are that I'll head back to SS 5.4.

agree with monster energy, the supercharger script is amazing......I flashed this and i couldn't answer the phone even after a reboot..... so i went back to LGB2.4

Good point, I had SS 5.4 supercharged, forgot to try that for PE 6.5. Gonna give that a whirl and report back later.

well, I tried a few more things, including changing kernel again and super-charging, but it just doesn't seem to like my phone all that much. Went back to SS 5.4 for the time being.

I really wanted to like this ROM, maybe b/c the last Froyo version was so great. But I just can't seem to get it running smoothly. I like to tweak for looks, but I definitely prefer when a ROM performs well right out of the box. This one didn't do that for me. Too many redraws and too much lag. Just personal preference. I know some people love to tweak for performance too.

I did try the V6 Supercharger script, but even that did not help. I'm trying LGB for the first time since LFY and I like it as much as SS so far. Nice to have choices!

Been running overall pretty smooth for me, but i seem to be running into 2 issues persistently. The first is no 3g after some calls. It shows i have a strong signal, but no connection. I also am getting the bug where you answer a call and it just keeps on vibrating during the call.

Liking it! Seems quick, good battery usage, runs cool with CorCor Elite 1100 sv kernel. Good job everyone!

I've been running it on the CorCor 1100 lv for a couple days now and it is hands down the most stable any GB rom has run on my phone.

For the most part, this ROM is running great with one major flaw keeping me from truly enjoying it. My LauncherPro redraws every single time I hit the Home key. Keeping it in memory in both LP preferences and Elite Settings isn't doing it. If that one issue could be worked out, I think this would be an awesome ROM, but it's very much a liability at this point.

EDIT: Apparently there's an option in Elite Settings > General > Memory Management > High Priority Launcher (which should be checked on). Initially, it seems to be helping, so hopefully this is what it takes to make this ROM great.

Cant say if V6 has slowed down my phone because its the first thing I install with any new GB rom. I havent noticed any slowdowns overall though.

From time to time I get an annoying lag when typing, and occasionally when selecting a text field no keyboard is displayed (such as right now) but I have experienced that with many roms, not just PE. I have always attributed it to android itself or the phone.

I could say the same. Annoys the piss out of me. Usually, the only time I get the text lag is when using the search feature, but have had the keyboard not pop up many times. Both issues have been across many diff GB ROMs.

The main issue I'm having with this is screen redraws. Checking the High Priority Launcher did help as it would happen every time. Now it's just most of the time. lol Regardless, it's time for something new, and LGB 2.5 is here.

its sick. first off this is the best rom yet. ive tried lots and i was liquid for a while but this one won me over. love the themed pull down bar also. but i have a question. it didnt come with a theme choser. like the colorful android that u can choose like system or androidian or watever its called. soo how do i get it?
