Iphone convert / New to android

I just returned my iPhone 4 (within 14 days Verizon).

Its a tough decision as I want the Charge but the newer Phones are hopefully coming out soon.

How do you like the Charge?

So far so good. I have had it all of about 15 hours. I had the iPhone 4 since it came out and Jailbroke it the same day. Now I want to do the same thing with the Charge.

The novelty of the iPhone was beginning to wear off and the fact that I live in a 4G area kinda tipped the scales.

I tend to be fickle with phones, so we'll see how this one holds up.

Thanks!

Why do you feel that you need to "root" the phone? I know that you have to do that on the iPhone just to be able to do anything you want to the phone since the thing is controlled by a maniacal mad man that thinks he can do no wrong but Android isn't the same. You can customize Android as much or as little as you can 95% of the time without root.

That's what I love about Android. No one person telling me what I can and can't do with my phone.
