Help Where to find files which are downloaded from Android Market?

Hi there,
I've downloaded few applications from Market. When I do so, it automatically downloads it and installs it too, without even asking me. Since I did not like one of the application, i just removed the application from "Manage Applications". But now, I am keen to know where is the downloaded file stored??? Does it get deleted when we uninstall the application??

I suppose it is stored in /data/app folder

ok.... but from where can i access it from phone??? i belive you are talking about the path, when we connect it to a PC right?

yes, you can try to pull them via the cmd

adb pull /data/app/xxx.apk xxx - stands for the name of the .apk file

or you can access them via root explorer app or I think even Astro file manager can access that folder

no. its in data partition, not SD card.
