Hey nice case I want to get it buy have a few questions. When removing and putting the case back on for battery access will it stretch and eventually not fit the phone snug?
I sincerely doubt it. Otterbox uses very high quality material in their cases. I have never experienced anything like this in any commuter case that I have ever owned.

The GS II has a Gorilla Glass display. NO SCREEN PROTECTOR will be even remotely as tough and durable as your naked screen. Don't waste your money on a screen protector.

This case is unbelievable! I love everything about it, its very well made just like all of their cases.I have absolutely nothing bad to say about it. Its very tight fitting and I was pretty amazed with it when I first put it on. If anyone wants any pics just let me know.
The commuter comes with a decent screen protector anyway. I used it on my Storm and my wife used it on her Atrix. Otterbox rocks with quality. I'm sure it will be great.

Disagree - IMO it's absolutely fine, still fits in my shirt pocket no problem and is much less bulky than my HTC Hero in a Noreve case was. You soon get used to it. Now what I want is a car-holder that will take it with the case fitted...
Makes the SII look like it belongs in a Metal Gear game.
Adding this to my 'consider' list. I kinda want something that has a slide mechanism to protect the camera.

I bought this case for my phone and it is definitely bomb proof. the rubber fits snuggly and the feel of it is superb. but i have a major issue with this case. it makes an echo feedback when someone calls me. any
solution to this?
I was looking for cases on the weekend and went into a store that just got these in for the the Galaxy S2. The salesman told me that he highly recommends this case, I thought he was just saying that because it was the most expensive case they carried. He then pulled out his phone that has the case installed and proceeded to drop it on the floor to demonstrate the durability, I was sold. It fits very well and feels really good.
I can vouch for how good the otter commuter case is. I bought one the same time as i bought my phone (from telstra). It was the most expensive one however i did not buy for that reason. The durability and ruggedness of the case is fantastic and i feel if you are going to spend $600 plus on a phone than you need a really good case. I feel if i dropped my phone from 2m high this case would save my phone. It covers every mm of the phone (other than the screen for obvious reasons) so no part of the phone is exposed to scratches.
One concern i do have though is i live in Australia and it can reach 40 degrees celcius where i live. If i was to use plenty of cpu power (for example an emulator) on a really hot day, i think this case would probably allow the phone to overheat quite quickly. Other than that there is no other cons with this case. i highly recommend
