Can anyone tell me how to remove Corporate Calendar? I don't need 2 calendar apps. I found the apk for the corp. directory or contacts or whatever but can't seem to locate the one for the corp. calendar.

Also, you need to wipe the devlik cache to actually free up internal storage on the phone, correct? Can you do this through the terminal emulator or does it have to be done via recovery?

I so wish I had found this list BEFORE I uninstalled apps. Unfortunately I'm not tech savy, just enough to get myself into trouble, which is what I have done :(. I uninstalled system apps and now my camera doesn't work and all of my ring tones are gone, among other things I'm sure I haven't discovered yet :(.
I also had not changed the default to save more than ONE ROM back-ups. So i can't backup my phone to previous (before deleted system apps) state. Sigh...
I've spent ALL DAY trying to figure out how to re-install system apps, flash phone, etc (while trying to understand what I'm reading) and haven't had ANY LUCK :*(.
I would GREATLY appreciate it if someone could help walk me through (think instructions for Dummies lol) fixing my problem I'd be FOREVER greatful.
I have the following installed from when I rooted my LG Ally Phone:
App 2 SD Free
BusyBox Installer
Dropbox
Easy Installer
PdaNet
PdaNet Helper
ROM Manager
Root explorer (Just installed this. don't think it can help me???)
Superuser
Titanium Backup Pro

Are you still on 2.1?? Or 2.2? Anyhow, look for the thread "i need a volunteer who wants to go back completely stock" or something similar posted by swc2001 if i remember correctly. Look for the correct nandroid and restore it. If that doesnt work you can use LGNPST guide (if you search just that itll come up) also, i would do away with ROM Manager and clockwork, use alternate recovery in ROM manager to flaash amonra recovery then rid yourself of ROM maanger. Also, have you considered velocity?

Wow! Thank you for your response. :)
*2.2.2
*Going to look for "I need a volunteer..." I did see that at one point.
*Why do you suggest I do away w ROM Manager & Clockwork?
-I used the above b/c I used "one-click" to root the phone. I chose one-click b/c it was the easiest most dummy proof w/ step-by-step video lol :D.
*Have not considered Velocity b/c of previous comment and 2. b/c I'm still trying to understand and learn all this root, flash, etc stuff.
Thank you again for your time and help. Cross your fingers for me :).

ROM Manager is FAR from the best way to flash the recovery, also ClockworkMod Recovery is not advised on the Ally. Ive never had issues myself but otheres had so i stopped using it once i came to this advice. also easiest isnt always best, the issue with one clicks is fastboot (low level interface between PC and phone) if you have it, using a one click wont change that, if you dont there is only 1 way to get it, that's by doing a full flash with LG Mobile updater (in the 2.2 Root guide) or LGNPST also posted in the forums here courtesy of Death2All110.

now the links. . .
about fastboot

2.2.1 Root Guide (in case you decide to downgrade to get fastboot and flash a custom ROM)
http://androidforums.com/ally-all-t...-3-2011-3-40-pm-est-now-easier-than-ever.html

LGNPST because LGMU can be wonky
http://androidforums.com/ally-all-t...nate-v6-restore-method-updated-5-24-11-a.html

and if you decide to stick where you are, here is how to mnually flahs amonra recovery, yes you can use ROM manager as well
