what is the best way to save (extend) internal memory on ace??

try moving some of your apps to your SD
download and install app2sd and also an app called 1tap cleaner would also come in handy

thanx a lot "1tap cleaner" helped me , but i need to free more space .

i have a rooted ACE running gingerbread (so i couldn't use link2sd)

Well, the best way could be installing a kernel with darktremor support.
I'm using coderom v2x-2b, partitioned my sd card to fat32 and ext2, and used a2sd to transfer the apps. This is some "way" to expand your internal memory.

Of course!
I'm using coderom v2x-2b.

If you install it (the instructions for installing are there), then jump to 9.5 instruction (below)


Anyway, if you want Coderom v2x-2b, then it's pretty easy to install. Are you using a 2.3.4 rom? Kph, kpn, kp7 or something? You know how to use odin and all, right?
Here are the steps anyway:

1. First, factory reset in your firmware, format sd card,
2. Go to recovery menu, wipe/clean data and factory reset
3. It's not here ahaha
4. Install KPN or KPH firmware with odin (if you already have it, then you can skip this step)
5. Copy clockwork mod.zip file to your sd card, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1168417 (ClockWorkModeAce.zip)
6. Turn on your phone in recovery menu mode, install clockwork mod
7. Turn on your phone in recovery menu again, and do those:
- wipe/clean data
- factory reset
- go to advanced menu,
- clean battery stats,
- clean dalvik cache
and turn off the phone.
9. Use CodeRom v2x-2b file in odin. Watch out, there is only two files. Use with them cooper file. Modem file goes to phone, code file goes to pda. Start your flash.
(START HERE ONLY IF YOU INSTALLED SANGINGERACE)
9.5. now it is! Use Mini Partition Tool Wizard to format your sd card.
(Free Download Magic Partition Manager Software - Partition Wizard Online home edition)
- First partition must be fat32, otherwise windows cannot read your card.
- Second, if you are using class10 card, format with ext4 partition and take whole space left from fat32. If you are using below class10 sd card, use ext2 partition.
Both are PRIMARY type.

10. When its finished,
- First, use ext4 app to convert your phone memory to ext4 partition.
- Second, use a2sd app to move your apps and dalvik cache to ext partition on sd card. To carry your dalvik cache, you need to select sd card ext partition and click to move and rebuilt button!

11. Go to tweaks app, select tweaks ever you want, and select dt:auto start option to move apps to ext partition on sd card. The tweaks I have are everything but "kernel:scheduler, cpu conservative gov, and media:stagefright". Dont select them. Apply and the device will reboot.
!!! This selection need more time to do its job. 3 times restart, dont worry just wait.
12. When its done, now you can use your phone. Check your internal memory and it must be 136 mb i guess. The a2sd gui app dont show the right information of the memory, so install titanium backup to be sure and check it.
