Root how to save internal memory with link2sd and play some flash

To save apps to SD. just make a new partition in FAT32(with any partion manger program, I used easeus") and DL an app called link2SD from the market with a rooted cell. with that you can move all your apps to the SD and never worry about internal memory. before i rooted n did this i barely had any internal mem. i was at 16-6MB. now i'm at 54.78mb and have twice as many apps. got 2 mmorpgs, all 3 angry birds which = to atleast 80mb counting the updates and that's only 5 of the 80 apps i have!!! its awesome!

Also to watch flash use the built in player in skyfire browser(limited but better than nothing). it plays some flash videos and they expand each day. so the only major thing left is to boost performance. Any takers???

sorry if anyone has seen this before, i just wanna spread the word cause i don't see much about it.

does it work with a ext formated partition????
I partitioned another sd card 512mb ext3 0mb swap. Installed Link2SD and then chose ext3........ forgot to note the exact message but it was something like " Your device may not support this ext try FAT32" . I didn't want anyone wasting time for something I was curious about...this is probably why they said to make 2 FAT32 partitions, lol

See if Link2SD will read you ext3 partition as ext2. I'm pretty sure mine did but I am definitely running a ext2 partition on my phone.

can i have a lil help plz! I guess im not gettin this at all but is makein a new partition called move/resize partition? maybe if someone could list all the steps or a quick video usein one of the programs listed above it would help me out alot! it maybe be easier then what i think it is but i just cant figure it out...

Thanks,
The New Guy!! lol

if you're using easeus then yes. i'm not sure if i did it rightbut i had a bunch of crap on my cd card anyway and it was almost full so i deleted the partition all together then created 2 new partitions, both fat32 and primary (its gives you an error saying windows wont recognize it) then i remounted the sd card and opend link2sd and slected fat32 and it worked like a dream. i did have to re install every program i had, though what i am told is that titanium backup first would have prevented that, but it is definitely worth it...everyone with a prevail NEEDS to have link2sd...i'm actually running out of apps that i had wanted to install (i'm over 80 now) and still have about 50mb left

using EASEUS yes move/resize is right first if I were you make a copy of your sd card to your computer... of course you need to have mass storage on open easeus you should see your computers hard drive as disk one and disk 2 should be your card provided you don't have any other storage devices mounted on computer...highlight your card then click resize/move then you can just click and drag (there is a a dot at either end make sure you drag it from right to left) to chose what size you want the partition to be then click ok you will see in the box you began in will have under "pending operations" on left hand side resize/move up above that you should see create partition click that it to will go under "pending operations" then click apply right above that... then make it fat32 and primary there is an option to label it also....hope that helps

Best Free Partition Manager Freeware for Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows XP 32 bit & 64 bit. MiniTool Free Partition Manager Software Home Edition.
this is what i used to make my partition

1.go in and resize the partition so you will have however much space you think you need unallocated. (i choose 1GB and am having issues filling it up)

2.then click on the unallocated space you just made and click create. MAKE SURE TO SELECT PRIMARY NOT LOGICAL (it will say something about not recognizing the 2nd partition or something.) then make the partition FAT32. give it a drive letter or let the program choose it. and click apply.

3. reboot the phone and start link2sd

everything should be working at this point and get to linking!

Thanks for the help! Took me a while to get all this setup, but it is well worth it. I now have more apps than before, yet double the memory!

I am a bit confused about this. I was able to use easeus to make 2 partitions on my sd card. I made them both about 1.5gb (I have a 16gb card) I downloaded link2sd and it opend up and I choose fat32. it seems like everything is working, when i check internal memory it doesnt shows a bit less than it did before i downloaded the program. how do I know it works ?

I used link2sd and was able to free up space. initially the internal memory available was around 96mb. but now without even downloading more apps, its slowly decreasing in size, 78mb left. i even cleared the devlik-cache and restarted my phone, but everytime the free space seems to get smaller.....any ideas?
