[Guide] to Installing S-off, ClockWork, Root, SuperCID & S-on

I also used this guide to root my sensation. And also to gain super cid. Quite easy to follow with links to all the bits n bats you'll need to do the job..

Tried quite a few Roms. But I've been with the leedroid ROM since v 2.0 now on v 2.2 its a very fast smooth and stable ROM that I really recommend trying.

I'm very new to this and i have a question. I'm interested in flashing this rom but i am unsure if i need to flash the radio as well. I have a stock rom with custom unlock ring.

No you don't need to flash the radio. It will work perfectly fine with the stock one - should you choose to follow Mike's recommendations and flash the radio - it would be better to check you have super-cid and flash the firmware instead which fixes a lot of issues and has the radio.img in the package. You will need to flash the RIL for the radio separately.

There are posts you can link to here on this forum that shortcut to the XDA forums OP on how to root/super-cid and flash RILs. I can't link as I'm on my phone.

**Make sure you follow all instructions to the letter as flashing firmware can brick your phone**

When you press the download link for revolution a form will pop up and you need to enter your device, hboot and revolution serial number

How do I find my hboot? I have tried following the guide linked in the OP, but I do not find it to be very understandable at all. :( It says I need revolutionary to find my hboot to enter, but I need to know which hboot to enter to download revolutionary...
