Root Best rom to flash?

Hi im kinda new to the scene and i just wanted to know what rom is the best for evo?I mostly use my phone for emulators and apps like n64oid but i don't want to lose basic performances just for apps.

HTC EVO 4G Android Roms

(Click where it says "show all android roms/builds" right above the first row of evos)

A lot of good ones out there.

For AOSP: Decks, Vaelpak or CM7

For Sense based: MIkG, Kinged Kingdom, KIngs Alliance, Synergy, Synergy Kingdom, and many more.

I recommend Decks if you want AOSP and MikG for the Sense 2.1/3.0 feel. They are both stable roms and these are just my opinions. You will find out what's best for you.

best rom is all a matter of opinion. the best way to know really is to try them out. i would start with mikg2.45. very stable and it is sense 2.1 and 3.0 combo rom. best of both worlds. you can get it on the rom/kernel sticky

If you want the best performance try out an aosp Rom. They tend to be smaller and use less resources. Your mileage may vary.
I run Mik3D and I love it! Some folks don't. Wait until You Doofus stops around, he's a cm7 junkie, won't run anything else.

If You Doofus is a CM7 junkie, I"m his equivalent for Decks rom. I keep going back for more.

But, I sneak in a few Mik or Kings flashes here and there.

Im on CM7 7.0.3 and love it .I have yet to upgrade to the latest 7.1. Few things I have noticed though is a dont get 4g and I can not shut off 3g. My only complaints so far. Ive also flashed Vaelpak and MIKG rom .... the mik is a super nice sense rom ... have yet to mess with the vaelpak rom much..but I hear great things !
