SD Cards on the Optimus One

Hello there! I was wondering if someone could give me some advice on which SD Card to buy for the Optimus One.

I was thinking about a 32 GB class 4, but then I read there were some problems on Android (like the device ejecting it, not recognizing it and so on). Some people say x works, other say y works... I'm totally clueless.

I would like a lot of storage since I plan putting my music in there. If not 32 GB, 16 GB as the least.

I'm new to the Android world and everything seems so complex! Any help would be really appreciated! :D

That's interesting! Thanks a lot!

I think I'm not risking it yet for a 32GB card, 8 GB should be fine I guess... I'll be looking for class 6 in that case :)

Any thoughts on 16 GB?
I have a 16gb class 6 in mine right now. No problems at all!

I just went out and bought a 32gb class 10 micro sd card for it and haven't put it in yet. I have to back everything up first.

I'm new to this phone and forum so I'm still checking out other threads. I'm having problems connecting my phone to my computer after a recent format. It connected fine before but I forget what drivers I had to install before. Anyways, once I get that figured out I'll let you all know how the 32gb class 10 card works. :)

So, it seems that u had upgraded from 2 gb to 16 gb. Did your apps remain safe in the process? Thanks. :)

I'm pretty sure you wont have to reinstall. I didn't have to anyway. But if you removed the SD card, then uninstalled the app from the phone, then the app wont work even if you insert the SD card again. This is because, only a part of the app is moved to the card, the remainaing part is still in the phone's internal memory.

I changed to a 16gb before I even downloaded any apps. Sorry I couldn't help you there. When I changed from a 16gb to a 32gb I just transferred all my files from my 16gb card to a folder on my computer. Then put my 32gb card in and transferred the files I wanted back on. I'm going to be honest I just re-download all the apps I wanted again.
