Root Sense 3.0 - Synergy, Mik, MikG, MIUI - *Need 4G*

So I'd like a Sense 3.0 style ROM. I'd like everything to work, cameras, 4G, Bluetooth, swipe, voice to text, Wireless Tether, etc. I'd like good speed and great battery life.

Maybe I'm asking for too much, but perhaps it is currently available.

I typically get 6 hours with what I would call normal use. As in, it is actually being used. I don't consider a phone off or in a pocket being used...

There are so many ROM's with repeated and mixed up names, I can't really keep them straight. There are Kingdom ROM's, Synergy ROM's, Synergy-Kingdom ROM's, Synergy GodMode ROM's...

The reason I was going to flash to the [ROM] Synergy [RLS1] first, was cause it seemed the most thorough and complete with tons of features. GodMode sounds wicked fast, what are the drawbacks, wouldn't everyone like 2X performance increase? Are the nightly builds a better idea? I've seen comments here and there that there are issues as well as not the best battery performance.

Some ppl seem to love the Mik (<-- is this a person? It's not the old MightMike is it?) ROM's. ocnbrze seems to like his stuff and I'm sorta partial to his advice. I guess there are Mik3D (alpha), MikG2.42 ROM's available.

MIUI has been listed as a favorite, but it seems like it's some Japanese ROM that doesn't have 4G.

Can anyone straighten this out and suggest the best one to meet my listed requirements? Are all the listed ROM's at least going to be better than the Stock Sprint ROM?

MIUI does not have 4g yet. Mik ROMs are great, they are fast and usually give good battery life with the right kernel. Godmode is fast but not all of the themes and mods for synergy work with godmode, plus when I flashed it, my phone got really hot so I went back to my previous ROM. CM7 is also a really good ROM and will probably give some of the best battery life/performance, the draw backs are that it does not have all the eye candy and functionality of Sense. This could be a good thing if you don't like Sense though.

In short, if you want Sense go with Mik, if you want AOSP go with CM7.

Edit: Mik is the person and I don't think he is MightMike.

with every rom and kernel YRMV. godmode sucked for me. i was getting really bad battery life and it takes forever to flash. i took me at least 35-40 min to boot up after flashing! it happend on both the syn and syn-kingdom rom with godmode. just be patient if you want to try them.

any of the mik roms are great. and you are right i'm a mikhead. lol i would honestly start out with mikg2.45 first then you acn flash anything you want afterwards.

and miui is to iphony for me. sure you can customize to not look like it. plus there is no 4g on it yet. it is the only rom that does not support 4g unless it is a port from a phone that does not have 4g.

main thing is make a nandroid and just try them out. t=give it a test run of a few days and see if you like it. if not then move on to the next rom on your list.

Thanks fellas, I appreciate your input.

You've changed my mind and I will try out MikGv2.45 first (is this one Sense 3.0 or should I go Alpha-male on it?)

Does Google Voice/Video chat work with this? I think the ROM needs to be based off 2.3.4.

I'd like clear pictures when I'm calling or my ppls are calling me, do I get those with these ROM's? I wish Google Contacts supported larger pics, do I need to use a certain contact type to get nice clear contact pics?

I've got a fast 16GB SD, do I want to create an ext3 partition and do the Darktremor Apps2SD thing or is that old news? If I should, is a 1GB partition good? Any other settings that I need?

Thanks again, big hugs!

mik3d is sense 3.0 and mikg2.45 is a combo of sense 2.1 and 3.0. both roms have a2sd built in so no need for dt.
here is a guide that you can use:[GUIDE][07/07/11]How to Partition your SD Card - xda-developers to partition your card if you want.
