Games for the Transformer

I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of apk files for games like NOVA2, Rainbow Six, Asphalt 6, etc. I don't mind paying, that's not the issue. It's just that whenever I go to the Gameloft site it doesn't want to let me download anything (I'm choosing the Motorola Xoom option as recommended my another forum).

Any tips? Or are we destined to live a life of gamelessness with our TF101s?

I don't get my TF101 for 24 to 48 hours (ordered online) but:

I was just looking in the online Android Market. If you do a search for tegra or THD you get a good list of games. Also there is an app put out by Nvidia called NVIDIA Tegra Zone that points to games they recommend for NVIDIA Tegra 2 devices.

No_u: True, but if I go to the Gameloft site and set the download to be for Xoom, how do I then download without putting in a mobile phone number? Sorry if this is a dumb question...

Doit2it: Yup, very true. Sorry, should have been clearer - I'm looking more specifically at Gameloft or EA games...

That's not actually true, i've tried th Xoom version of Nova 2 and it won't start on my transformer.

The problem is that the Asus Transformer has a modified system different from the Iconia, the Xoom, and all other Tegra 2 tablets. See the following threads to learn more:

In short, you need to root the set.

This is why I ditched it and went over to the dark side (or light side depending on your persuasion), where every game runs as it should. All it took is one jailbreak (all done automatically through one click on a webpage) and I'm home-free. No dicking around and no digging up forums for clues on how to "root" the mother.

Meanwhile, I still have the Transformer, just waiting for a buyer.

You ditched it because of Gameloft support? Gameloft games are just not that good.

If I wanted the best device for Gameloft games I would still be using my old Galaxy S.

Hi...im new here..can anyone advise me..my transformer tab drains 25% after full charge even it was shut off and docked to the board. I left it for 18 hours and when I opened it, i found that the battery was discharged. But my dock is still full 100%. weird tho... I have dual battery widget to check it with. i closed also my wifi connection prior shutting off...is this normal?...hope someone can help me...thanks..

Ummm? I went to gameloft site, selected xoom, downloaded NOVA 2, Spiderman and Dungeon Hunter 2. They work perfect on my transformer. I am not rooted.

Got Dungeon Hunter 2 and Spiderman working, but NOVA 2 won't start.

I never got them from Gameloft though so maybe that's way NOVA 2 is not working.

I'm sorry you paid for it and it doesn't work. Honestly, I just dl it, installed, dl update and it works. I have no idea how or why.

Hamlin, you mentioned 'dl update' in your response. Is there a second download that the Scotsman should do?

When I opened the game up it asks me to download and install files. I assumed it was an update?

Although I too have had no luck with any gameloft titles off their website, (i get error messages and failures all the time) I have found loads of great titles available on the Market...
