People with 3500mah or 4000mah batteries, what kind of case do you have?

I love my phone and now i love it even more with my new 4000mah battery. but i would like to know what options do i have if i decide to buy a case for it. so far the only ones i seen is the ones from seidio. Are there any other companies that make cases for extended batteries?

I have the 3500 from Hand Held Items and would like to know this as well.

I wish there were other case options out there for extended battery users. Seidio has a number of kickstand cases for regular batteries, but not for the extended batteries they sell.

My argument is that if the 3500 & 4000 battery was created for extended use, why wouldn't they put into account the types of multi-usage that would come along with that, including watching movies, and other things associated with leaving the 3DVO propped up, and create a case with a kickstand.

Look at your case. Try to picture putting a kickstand on it so that it holds the phone at a certain angle and is sturdy enough to hold the weight. Plus, how much does it add to the overall thickness. It's got to be a difficult problem to figure out the optimal kickstand to put on a case like that.

I think we can all throw the thickness argument out the door when we signed up for this accessory. However, several options come to mind in designing a stealthy and functional kickstand for the Seidio extended case to take full advantage of that added thickness/bulk:

1) The area below the battery where the phone continues on to the bottom, is a perfect way to extend the case, yet with ample space for a kickstand. I'm thinking some sort of scissor-like apendage that folds up neatly within that space. After all, that unused space is probably about the equivalent of 6 to 8 wooden matchsticks, which is plenty of space to design some sort of kickstand that can be used both vertically of horizontally.

2) The space occupying where the camera lenses are can serve as both a compartment to store a kickstand accessory within a rubber flap/case, and as a lense protector. Think of a snap-on pocket that's fits snugly inside the lens area that's soft on one side where the lenses are, and rubbery/plastic on the outter shell side. And within that little pocket is a metal clip that can be inserted into a reinforced slot opening on either side of the case, for vertical or horizontal usage. Kind of like the original metal kickstand on HTC's case.

3) Because the extended battery is smaller than the phone, the sides extending out to the edge of the phone are also unused areas that could have been redesigned. For this, I'm thinking the same idea I referenced using the bottom could apply. Only it's for a kickstand on either side.

I'm no product engineer, but that's three different areas that could have easily been utilized for a sturdy kickstand of some kind - provided the case skeleton was made of metal. And my guess is that the space on either side of the camera lenses on the back of the phone between the top of the phone and the top of the battery where it tapers down like a wedge isn't used either. Instead, I'm certain it's just emptied hollow space inside, to coincide with the wedge design. So technically, that's five unused areas of space that could have been used to incorporate a kickstand.

I'm honestly not trying to be smug or an ass about it, but if I were Seidio and knew people would be using this phone for long periods of time, and that HTC deleted the number one "stand-out" feature on the EVO (no pun intended), it would only make sense to accomodate the customer and design a way to include a kickstand somewhere within the case, rather than concentrate on it just being strealthy looking... That's all I'm saying. I like Seidio's product, and I would buy again, but I feel that it might have been a waste of money to buy a case now if we're going to have to buy another one all over again when they come out with one that DOES have a kickstand... If that's even in the works with them at this point.
