Root SBC kernels, latest word?

Not to start at SBC debate, but what's the latest word on an SBC version kernel release for GB? I'm currently running golden monkey 1.1 but battery life still pretty depressing. Those extra sometimes 4hrs of battery life sure would be useful again.

I've heard that they are working on sbc. From what I've heard around here they are trying to add sbc to the existing kernels as opposed to crafting a new sbc kernel...

I'm on tiamat still, so..
How is golden monkey treating you (minus the lack of 4 extra hours of battery)?

I'm running GM with v6 supercharger and I've not had a problem yet. I use my phone quite a bit. The drain on the battery seems to be better but I don't want to make a total conclusion until I've ran it for a week or so.

I think the xda thread said that the supercharger didn't have any impact on battery life. That it was more of a management process (changed priorities or something). I could be wrong.

That's actually what i was hoping for, SBC versions of available kernels like netarchy's on Froyo and tiamat's SBC options. I was hoping it wouldn't take much to add the SBC in since kernels have already been produced for GB.

Golden Monkey's doing ok, i haven't had any issues at all since i flashed it after it's release. It's much better than stock due to the over/underclocking. I don't overclock very much, it's the underclocking/screen-off profile that i care for the most due to battery life. I could run at 998MHz all day long and have no worries about being faster, but the "stock" battery drain of the stock kernel was killing me. I miss SBC, ya' never know how much you love something till it's gone *sniff* :p

Cool beans. Hopefully the SBC kernels start rolling out soon.

I'd like to see some SBC as well. Hopefully Netarchy will keep plugging away on Golden Monkey as his Froyo kernels were rock solid. I'm liking Lithid's Freedom More kernel right now. I'm running it with 768/245 as my max/min with InteractiveX. Battery is ok I guess, would like to see it be more efficient with the screen on, but if I could keep from flashing and let my kernel settle, it would probably be ok.

2 months away from root has made me want to flash everything under the sun as of late.
