Hoping to get a little help here. We just upgraded a couple of work phones to the Photon from blackberry's. Everyone loves the new phones except for one big issue. We get tons of emails and everyone misses the blinking light the bb's had to show you have new notifications.

On these new phones that minuscule green light just is not noticeable. Is there any way to make it more noticeable that you have received new mail. Maybe someway to make the phones display to turn on upon receiving mail?

If I can't resolve this what phones would anyone recommend to replace these with? Really don't want to go back to blackberry.

Thanks in advance!

Hmm, not natively that I know of. You can try Light Flow, an app that allows notification light (and sound) customization. There's also a free "lite" version you can play with if you don't want to shell out the buck and a quarter the full version costs sight unseen.

You can try this app that was developed for the Nexus S (which doesn't have a LED indicator at all).

According to the market, it's compatible (not sure if it actually works). The icons float around showing if there was something that came in with the phone on standby, but doesn't unlock the phone.
