Root *New* (8/19) GB RUU

Yeah, that will work, she will be 2 next month :D...Just an FYI when a baby has tubes in her ears and gets an ear infection some nasty stuff comes out. My son is about to be 4 and I did basically tell him to man up "Come on boy your arm isn't that broken!" jk ;)

Cool let me know, where I work I get great 4G but at home if I stand outside in the right spot I can get it, maybe this will make a difference. Now these radios are they basically like calling *228 used to be. I remember it was disabled on 4g phones because service was supposed to automatically updated (and it fried sim cards)

Removing the sim card from your phone for roughly five minutes will update your prl. It's basically the *228 for the Lte phones.

Totally different md5sums from everybody.

if youre using worms download, use his md5. the purpose of an md5 is to make sure the file maintains its integrity. if he flashes it and it works, all that matters is that the md5 of the file he used is the same as the one you download and use :)

one byte more, less or different in a file will create a whole new md5. may be the way we each extracted, rezipped,or we maybe just used different android info files.

different md5s arent neccessarily an indication somethings wrong in this situation :)

You guys are making me smarter. That's what I figured so I already flashed it.

I'm willing to bet we see one more leak before the official OTA (mr3)

the guy adrenaline quoted may not have known his *ss from a hole in the ground  so you could be right. the last one was no where near ready,it will actually surprise me that only 2 more version numbers are that much better.

ill run it tomoro and see if it performs any better. :)

How do you put a file on the root of your SD card using a MAC? Also how do I check MD5?

In terminal type "md5 filename.ext" if that doesn't work then try "openssl md5 filename.ext"

as for the ruu,i doubt its going to be mr3... allready seen reports the VM notifications are still not working.

If it is I could just imagine the marketing campaign for the Vigor "With working VM notifications".

But I do agree this is likely one of VZW's test builds at least we know progress is being made (or I assume it is) and VZW hasn't forgotten about the phone yet.

Well updated and played around a bit. 3G works fine and voice was fine as well. Can't check 4G yet since LTE base stations are 5 miles away in any direction. I will have to check later.

Here is the baseband - odd format. Don't remember my last radio being formatted like this:

Radio format look correct to me, the 704 was like that too, I don't remember how the other radios formats were as I was on 704 for a month. LTE is better for me, did some testing with it and it gets the connection much quicker and seems to want to hold onto it better than on the 704.

Anyone try out these radios with CM 7.1 RC 1.6.1?

Yes, I'm running it on 1.6.1. No issues, hand offs are quicker (could be placebo) have not tested 4G yet, though. Still don't have it in my TOWN! I'm getting fed up with this, it works in all my surrounding towns, I'm going to call VZW and ask what the issue is.
