Root Having Issue with superuser file

Hello,

I'am new to rooting.

When I download the superuser file it downloads a zip decompressor. A countdown appears and it says the file downloads automatically. Where do I find it on my laptop?

The only thing I seem to dl is that zip file decompressor.

I would really appreaciate the help, this is my 2nd day trying this process.

you want the su file to be zipped. do not extract it. not sure where it puts it on your computer. maybe do search for it. mine goes straight to a download folder.
