Hi Guys...

I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace and Android 2.3.4;
The system app 'Battery Use' is not monitoring the apps...Just Voice Calls, Phone Idle, Wifi, Voice Calls...
But.. if I use a lot some apps like Gmail, Youtube, Internet, Facebook, Games or others... it doenst appear on Battery Use;

Why? Its right?

They won't appear unless they are using a significant amount of battery. Most of my battery is used by the screen.

There are lots of threads about battery usage in the forum, including one in my sig which might help you.

Im sorry... But i played a game for 30 min after complete charge ando the game doesnt appear in battery use app.
And i never saw an user app in battery use.
What user app appear to you? Anyone?

1) Did you refresh the battery info page? (Menu button > Refresh)

2) Most of my user apps never appear. I see the browser (Dolphin) after I've used it for a significant amount of time.

My understanding (could be wrong) is that user apps appear if they are using a lot of power for processing.

Power used for data transmission would show up under WIFI, for example. Not for the app that actually downloaded all the data.

My e-book reader never shows up, even if I use it for hours. Instead, I see "Display" showing up - most of the power is used to keep the screen on.

There are other apps you can download which will give you more detailed information too, like Spare Parts.

I believe the battery usage only shows apps that have been used since you last charge the phone. If you charge your phone, it may reset the usage meter for that app. I would suggest you first charge your phone, then unplug and then use an app for a while and then check the usage again.

Mine currently shows the following:

Display 39%
Dialler 14%
Android System 14%
Phone idle 10%
Wi-Fi 8%
Cell standby 6%
Maps 2%
Internet 2%
Pulse 2% (my reader app)
Google+ 2%

1: If you keep doing partial charges, the graph/battery time will not be reset, it will keep adding info to it. It will only reset once the battery is over 90% recharged.

2: If you're charging the phone and playing, when you take it out of the power cord it will now show up because it will actually start counting from there.

3: Yes, if you play a game, it should show up there. In my it always shows Whatsapp and Boat browser.
