NOTE: If you end up having issues, always go back and try wiping. Start fresh and see if things don't improve.
NOTE 2: It'll take awhile for everything to settle down. Especially after installing gapps and syncing accounts. Give it a few minutes to settle and reboot a couple times. The system will speed up after that.

Helpful Tips

Overclocking is available in Settings --> CyanogenMod settings --> Performance --> CPU settings. Tweak it as you like, but know this: not all OV's were created equally.

no he means some of the optimus line of phones actually had a fm radio built in, you could tune to the local radio stations.

Not internet radio

Sorry for not being as clear with the written word as I was in my mind.:D That's actually what I meant, to listen to the radio using the phone. 'Course, you'd need an app to utilize that, right? Just like you have a phone app (even though it's built in and integral to the phone it self, it's still an app, right?).

Camera360 ultimate force closes. This is the same on reppards aosp port, is this an issue with cm7 in general?

EDIT: thought I would mention reppards overclock kernel works perfectly on this rom if anyone was wondering.

What is camera360? Is that a camera app from the market? Does this ROM have a standard android camera app installed, or do we need to install a camera app?

The stock camera works. Camera360 is one of if not the best android camera apps, it takes great HDR photos and has more quality features then any other camera app I've used. I highly recommend it.

Ah. Ok. Was just wondering. That's one of the things that I've not bothered finding an app for, the camera. I've been pretty satisfied with the stock camera app so far.

I would imagine it would use an app to control the radio.
There are internet radio apps, though over 1x its difficult to listen too.
Tune in is one I recently was told about and it works nice.

Download Camera360 free from the market and go outside and take some photos in light hdr mode, you will be amazed. Tilt shift and color shift are great too. c360 free works on this rom just no ultimate.
