HTC Incredible S - Reviews

Hi,

I am looking to buy HTC Incredible S which would be my first Android Phone

Please help me if this is worth buying.

I am looking for a good camera with flash, GPS, E-Mail access, good Music

My price range is INR 22k- 25K Approx.

I just got mine (although at Verizon, it's just the "Incredible 2") and so far, I really enjoy it.

[The 8mp camera seems decent (as decent as can be expected in a phone) and the flash is good and bright. The Music player is also good.

The E-Mail access, in my opinion, is the best that I've ever used. Both GMail and MS Exchange Email accounts sync up perfectly (and extremely quickly). The email app handles email, appointments, and attachments flawlessly (so far), and has a really cool little "Agenda" widget that shows all of your upcoming calendar appointments. This also integrates with facebook if you use it. I was coming from the original Motorola Droid and I much prefer the Incredible so far. It's a great little phone.

Edit: One down-side, in reference to the camera, is that the Gallery app is a little klunky. I like having my gallery separated into multiple sub-folders, and this took me a little while to figure out. Essentially, the pictures just can't be stored in the same folder as where the camera originally saves them (DCIM folder). You just have to move them after you've taken them.

This isn't really a down-side, just an extra step that needs to be taken. The Gallery app also syncs up with Flickr (I don't know whether or not it lets you upload there, but Flikr Droid will), but does not sync up with Google's own Picasa, which is a little odd.

These are not (in my opinion) nearly enough reasons to avoid this phone. It's a very quick, snappy phone with a decent camera, and shouldn't be overlooked.

Hello Mehul,

Check whethet the SIM is properly inserted in place, also the back cover.
The back cover has the GSM antenna.

Hi,

I tried all sorts of things..

1. Replace the sim card as advised the mobile phone retailer.
2. Went to HTC Support center and got the handset replaced as well.

But nothing is working at the moment:(

But i found weird since I have a silicon cover on the back of the phone, the problem persists but when I remove the cover there is no problem of echo.

Try if u have found the same problem. and the most surprising part is that this happens only after 3 minutes in the call.
