Root DX 602 Rooted! Time for Apex!

So I just wanted to make sure I'm doing this right. I downloaded the Apex 2.0 ROM for Rooted Gingerbread .602. I put it on my SD Card. Im a little unclear from reading the instructions as the easiest way to install. Should I Titanium Backup first? Once I do that, do I just find the file on my SD card and run it? That will take care of the rest? Or is there something else I should do first. I think im missing a step. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!!

you first need to download d2 bootstrapper, or dx bootstrapper, your choice with d2 you dont have to change anything, with dx bootstrapper you have to untick something (*forgot*) and tick it back after you instlal a rom

use titanium to back up your apps.

with d2 bootstrapper just open it
click Bootstrap Recovery,
hit ok for success
then hit reboot recovery
scroll to wipe data, and wipe it
then scroll to wipe cache, and wipe it
scroll to install zip from sd card
choose location
locate apex and install. reboot and your done

I want to root the .602 update and i have all the necessary stuff to do so but can i use any rom once ive rooted it? or do i have to use gb based roms only? i like the liberty rom..but do i have to wait for devs to make roms for the .602 base gb??

you can only flash gb roms, basically only apex as of right now is available for .602
shuji wont be far behind, not so sure about liberty, as i havent heard much from jrummy as of late, hopefully everything is ok and he ports liberty over to .602

try out apex is a solid choice

so liberty does work on .602? and i was looking in the Apex rom thread for .602 and i saw that a couple people were haveing issues loading paid apps from their markets on their phone..someone else was having the same issue on a different rom..does it have something to do with them being rooted and romd? or is it an issue with the rom they are on..im not rooted yet but if rotting wont allow me to get paid apps i think ill hold off
