4.52" screen and 1.2ghz dual core

Here are the dimensons to save somebody a couple of computer clicks.

129.9 mm x 69.6 mm x 9.59 mm

To put that in perspective of a 4.3 inch screen phone, here are the evo 3d dimensions.

126.1 mm x 65.4 mm x 11.3 mm

You can see that it is not that different, and is in fact slimmer than the evo 3d.

I went ahead and sketched out the dimensions of both of these phones on paper with a ruler so I could see the dimensons side by side. To be honest you can barely tell a difference, even side by side.

I can take a pic of my drawing and post if anybody cares to see. It will be a while before I am to my computer though, so just let me know if anybody is interested.

Here ya go. This is just a rough drawing that I did while bathing my 2 yr old. I did use a ruler though. I took the pic with my phone as well, so not the best quality.

Now to get back to studying.......if I can resist checking back on the forums every few minutes.

I hope this works, I've never posted a pic before.

Interestingly, the slimmer screen is more appropriate for watching movies. With the thicker screen, you get those black bars at the bottom and top of the screen.

Until we get reports on call quality, speaker quality and GPS performance, the only thing I can see that would make this phone perfect would be a nice kickstand.

Well I doubt they changed the internals of the phone that much from the UK version which was great in all of those categories, so I don't think it would change significantly. (Hopefully)

^but its a PHONE. I still think the EVO screen is too big.

Thin doesn't mean squat if its the size if a freaking index card. It's even worse if the resolution doesn't increase with the screen size.

I wish Sprint would have chosen a smaller screen.

I agree. I'm still waiting to try the phone out, I hope it won't feel or look as large as the infuse does.

You know... I just pulled up the following size comparison and if they have accurate dimensions for the E4T, it looks like the size is pretty decent, at least compared to the Evos:
Sized Up: Epic 4G Touch vs Evo 3D vs evo 4g

I like the size of the Evo 3D and when comparing the E4T to the Evo 3d, they are surprisingly similar.

Thanks, this looks much better than my paper and pencil drawing above. I was worried when I heard how big the screen was, but I was ok with the evo 3d size, and this is barely larger. I'm sold on this phone and will be ordering it as soo as I can. My upgrade is on the 15 th, the day before it is released.
