Root Cannot restore calendar sync 2.2.1 w/Titanium backup

I somehow got the calendar sync app deleted on my rooted phone, use Titanium backup pro and wanted to restore it. Said to restore app or app with data and I have tried both, but it just hangs the program, I have to reboot the phone to turn off TB. Does someone have the file that I can download and where would I put it to restore it?? I have no idea how it got deleted, I was deleting the games and other bloatware like that and was not near the google stuff I thought.

In TB, the smiley face is orange and it says that it is backed up, but why is it hanging??

Any help to this newbie would be greatly appreciated! Right now I am way too nervous to do any CM6/7 upgrade, I know it would increase my phones storage (take out the bloat) but with the few issues I have had rooting it, I am gun shy! I need to have someone that has done this alot to do it for me, I have to check with a friend to see if he can.

You are correct, I rooted the phone yesterday and now my phone is not syncing with the calendar on google or yahoo. I also see that the option to do it is not in my settings anymore. I did uninstall TB and redownloaded it and trying again, but again, it is hanging up after I tell it to restore the file. The "smiley" face for the app is a blue and orange box and the name is crossed out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!! I so need these calendars to be synced, my families calendar is on this!!!

Open root explorer and move them from the SD card to system>app paste them then click them and hit install and they should install.

I installed it and then rebooted just to make sure and it is still not showing a calendar sync in settings. I have it syncing my yahoo calendar also and it is not syncing that one either. AHHHHH! Sometimes I just wish I did not touch my phone!

Power the phone off. Then while holding the send key and volume up tap the power and hod the volume and send key till it vibrates.

This will wipe everything off your phone so youll have to start over with everything.

the send key is the one on the right on the front of the phone, next to the back key, just to make sure. After I do that boot, what do I do??? Do I just turn it off again and then let it load up again?

Should it be plugged into my pc or not?

I did the hard reset and now the accounts and sync are not there at all, my calendar is crashing if I try to look for it there or in settings and if I try to reinstall the apk that you sent to me, it is not installing! What did I do wrong??

I used my phone and went to the media fire site again, redownloaded it and reinstalled it from that. Now I have done the hard reboot, keeping my fingers crossed!!

Credit goes to Nuttmeg for this one:

reverting back to stock, ok power down the phone and download and extract this to your desktop MetroStockRecovery-SCRIPTS.zip after you done that press and hold vol down, end key and tap power, your phone should be on the white huawei screen and it should stay there plug your phone to the computer via usb cable, now open the folder that you extracted and run both of these file, first run fastboot-windows you will see a black box come and leave quick, next run metroPCSStock-windows.bat than another black box will pop up and it will do its thing, once it finishes the phone will automatic reboot itself.

Well I did it and it now says Android instead of the white screen, totally back to when I first got the phone. The old os is back, I do want to upgrade back to the 2.2 and root it again I suppose, now I have to find that link again!! Thanks!!

if you looking to root 2.2 or higher you have to use gingerbrake 1.1 or 1.2, and you need root explorer 2.16 to remove metro bloatware. you can click the link in my siggy for metro 2.2 or click here, Huawei Ascend Android 2.2 Upgrade
