I suggest to call Sprint cust care & have them push your upgrade date to today then go to Best Buy afterwards so they'll see it in their system. They shouldn't have a problem since you are just 8 days away.

I check this forum almost everyday and didn't yesterday. One of the lines is up an upgrade. I would have done it. I just installed Skype and it's bad ass.

Count me in as one taking deep advantage of this, for me, marvelous deal. No more T-Mobile though, I would have preferred being with them for the many years we were with them, but I think a time for new ventures lies with a different carrier, not talking merger talks necessarily and doesn't have confusing unlimited hype commercials. So far, loving it. Especially to video chat with wife on my lunch break and what not, something our past phones had not capability of doing. I didn't hear it here, but enjoy this forum to it's fullest extent. Here's to new, fun filled adventures. I can't believe how much faster the GPS is with this Samsung device too, gosh, how much time I wasted on the Vibrant...oh sorry, did I go there, hahaha. Ok, enough of my rant, thank heavens to a new era.

I did the Best Buy deal, and so far loving the phone. It's my first smartphone, although everyone else I know has one. But work pays for it, so I'm not complaining.

Sucks. My upgrade eligibility date starts today. Best Buy says I have to pay $49.99 for the phone. The sprint store will sell it for $29.99.

FYI, there is a 50 dollar mail in rebate at the sprint store and no mail in rebate at best buy, Trust me i just got a nexus s from the sprint in store 2 days ago and it was 100 bucks (50 bucks with 50 dollar mail in)

I just got the phone from Sprint. It was $29.99. I traded in my HTC Hero 200 for $38. So $6 got credited to my account.

Love the phone so far.
