Is it just me, or does it seem like what growth we were experiencing in our community has really dropped off?

XDA has lost a lot of DInc2 followers too. I have heard claims of people going to rootzwiki, but don't really see much action there either.

I haven't been able to find anyplace that has the kinds of discussion I used to see with the Eris community. Maybe I was spoiled.

Don't get me wrong, this is still my go-to for discussion. I don't plan on leaving, but I'm always looking for more. The community here is the most friendly, helpful, and current I have seen.

Thanks for being here Y'all.

As you know ... not much summer left up here in Minnesota, plus the fair is going on now. Not sure why others haven't been posting though

Things have stabilized here, too.

Which isn't to say things are perfect. They're not. For example, I set the alarm the other day and woke up about the time I set the alarm for. Good thing as during the night something changed the DINC2's TOD from EDT to CDT! Good thing I wasn't getting up to make a flight!

The market app does a force stop on occasion.

And there are some other oddities on occasion. But it's pretty clear things is how things is. So not much to post.

I really like the community here. It's not as much to sift through as XDA. I'm sure most people get their answers from XDA, but this is a more tight knit community and not as scattered.

Oh, battery life with MIUI and Tiamat blows!

Really? lameeeeee. I was thinking about flashing that once I stop being a lazy ass and get around to rooting my Inc2....

I'm kinda wondering if the majority of people have been content with their phones and haven't felt the need to mull around here. On a whole I tend to be less active in the forums when all is well...

I switched from CM7 to Virtuous Unity a couple of weeks back and have not had any problems with it(besides the known mms issue).

I am really enjoying my DINC2. Sense 3 is great. Battery lasts about 20 hours or so(way better than my Pre+).

I appreciate everyone that posts here.

I would tend to agree with this assessment. I also came from an Eris, and this device seems to be the Eris with little to no issues - no worries about internal space for apps, no lag or quirky bugs. It' s like the Eris, perfected.

Now if I can just solve my problems with Sense crashing....

I have an X and just read your post because I was bored with the posting slowdown on the X boards...

You will have to root your phone and install one of many ROM's with Sense 3.0. I have been using Virtuous Unity Rom. Very happy with it.

As far as posting to the forums. I pretty much came here for my Eris. Rooted it, ROMed it and was happy. I really couldn't offer any additional help to others so I don't spend much time here. Then I got my Dinc2, again with the help of the forums I got it where I wanted it. Again I can't really offer any additional help so I just don't spend much time on the forums.

I know enough to read and understand what others with much more tech skill are doing. But from that point I have no ability to make a ROM or even no where to start figuring out how to S-Off my phone from sratch.

A BIG thanks to those that have that skill and are will to share it and only ask for a donation! Isn't this whole community great? :D

My guess is that the DINC2 isn't riddled with problems like the Eris was. My Eris was horrible from the word go. I went through three of them. The DINC2 hasn't given me the first problem. Glad I stayed with the Android Platform. I almost defected though! LOL!
