Retail Pricing Confirmed

Just noticed that VZW just confirmed the Retail Pricing of the Droid Bionic.

While looking through the new DroidDoes.com site I was reading the Terms and Conditions, and they listed the price:

One (1) winner will win a Motorola Tablet (Approximate Retail Value ("ARV"): $669.99) and a Droid Bionic (ARV: $589.99) (Total ARV for both prizes: $1,259.98);

Now if I could only find the link "Don't have an Android Device" to play this game on my computer, like mentioned in the Terms & Conditions, that would be nice

I'll be paying full retail price because I'm still under contract and not one of the lucky ones who got an early renewal. The upgrade price of $300 is pretty steep anyway...

Is paying $300 for a year that comes with a 2 year contract really worth it when a full retail with no extension of contract and keep an upgrade for later is only $290 more? I guess it also depends how much you could get for your phone on Ebay or Craigslist right now.

Bionic at CostCo with all those accessories makes it worthwhile - $160 worth accessories, which means you can easily get your $299.99 back if you sell it online within a month of buying the phone, just throw in the accessories...

You'll get another upgrade in 2 years. If you only have one, wait a couple of months and see if the Prime really comes or not.

Costco has good prices, but I'm generally leery of these "we'll throw in a bunch of accessories" deals.

Retail. I bought my dual USB cigarrette lighter adapter from Griffin for $12 at a local Wal-mart - but the other accessories you'll only get (for now) from Motorola direct, or through VZW and applicable stores selling the phone.

Which means, yeah, you'll still get at least $80 worth of schwag.
