Help Having Troubles sending and uploading videos on my HTC EVO 3D

agreed.

can you answer some ?'s

are you rooted?
has this always happened?
how long have you had the handset?

what troubleshooting steps have you done?

battery pull? data profile update from the settings menu?

did you recently do a PRL update?

add or remove any programs just prior to this occurring?

some reading: http://androidforums.com/htc-evo-3d/361521-streaming-media-tyrrany-sprint-proxies.html

called sprint to make sure your location is not under an issue?

do you get an error message?

can you upload anything else? photos? can you stream something from, say, youtube?

Thank you for taking time for me Mr moderator...

Ok. Phone is not rooted. I am VERY technically challenged.

I got the phone on July 12th. I can send pics fine. Stream you tube fine.

Haven't added or changed programs that I can think of. Basically, its stock out of the box. I live in a major city, Seattle , have good coverage.

I even chopped the video up and sent it in 11 second intervals and it didn't work1!! Arfhhhh. So frustrating. Like I typed, I am VERY challenged technically.

I cant upload video to Facebook either, says something about pop ups settings. Idk.

Just look at my screen name. LOL. I pay for everything to get done. It is just so frustrating!!! This phone is supposed to be so bad Ass and I can't send an eleven second video??????? Arghhhhhh

Thanks again for your valuable time Mr moderator.

ok imma try this myself but first let me make sure i got you.

1. take some video form the evo 3Ds camera (2D)
2. attach it to a gmail account
3. send to someone

is this bascially what you are doing? does this happen on wifi as well as 3g/4g data?

Yes. Excatly. I even chopped my 1:22 video into 11 second segments. And yes , I've tried it on both wi-fi and Sprint network.

ok. aplogies for the delay/

im home now and on wifi.

i just rolled over (still in bed :D) grabbed the phone.. took a video of just stuff here.. it was a 30 second clip in 2D and about 11mb file size.

i renamed it to test so i could find it in the pile of other videos on the card.

went to my msn mail account on the handset. attached the video there. sent it to a gmail address i use.

in about a minute the video popped up in the inbox. it was in .mp4 format (this should not matter though).

so i was able to send the video no problem.

there must be something on your handset that us causing your issue.

remove the battery for 2 minutes. re install

try again.

if your on wifi (as i am ) to do this , there should not be anything holding you back.

i would double check the email address, etc.

if you are pretty much stock, you might keep the idea of doing a factory reset on deck...

Ok. I really feel like a dummy now. But i figured one thing out.....

Last night when i was on here posting I was using my wife's charger for her LG. That bogs the EVO down. Duh. But hey, good for a crackhead tofigure it out.

And i had my settings on my camcorder to gq or the second highest setting. Probably why can't send. Is 24.4 MB to big?
