Preorder at Wirefly for $150

Actually it is also same price for upgrades!

Also if u have bank of america, u can enroll in their free add it up program and u can get 50 bucks cash back from wirefly. so u can get it for like 100 bucks. also wirefly doesnt charge CA sales tax so that helps even more.

I looked all over the site for BofA add-it-up program and couldn't find anything about it. Could you find a link to send me to? Thanks.

question about the wirefly deal

does the 125 dollar credit for transferring phone number/service from a rival carrier apply if you go that route?

Currently with verizon and would like to get that deal if possible, is that only available through sprint stores or does wirefly allow that as well?

The 29 dollar tethering option... please tell me I can tether on the phone without paying that much extra.

Will I have to root the phone to get a free tethering app on there, or will there be a more straight forward way to get around that tethering charge?

(complete android novice here, coming from an lg enV touch dumbphone)

Sorry I don't know anything about the transferring number thing, but I am pretty sure the only way around the tethering thing is by rooting your phone.

You must go through Sprint to get the 125 dollar port in credit.

See the fine print at the bottom: www.sprint.com/switchtosprint

If you're cool tethering via a USB cable, an app called Easy Tether works great... NO rooting required or monthly fee.

that settles whether or not I go with wirefly, sprint direct it is then. Now I just need to determine what the fastest way to get the phone is, in store or online order.

Another pretty good tether app is called something like PDA net. way back when, someone did a comparison between the two and found they both had pros and cons, but it sounded like easy tether was the faster and that is what I wanted.

I just pre-ordered at wirefly too. Can't wait to get the phone. Never ordered from them before so hopefully it goes smooth. Does anyone know if there is any chance premier gold customers would get the phone few days early from wirefly?

I could be wrong, but I don't think being a Sprint premier gold customer would have anything to do with a 3rd party company like wirefly.

The ONLY way to get the phone early is to order from Sprint Tele Sales as far as I know. Going to a Sprint store won't help either.

I ordered mine from Wirefly. I can wait five days. (With $7 Second day FedEx compared to early delivery from Sprint.)

The real difference is that in California, the state taxes you on the retail price of the phone. That's $42 in taxes I save by ordering at Wirefly.
