Back up before Factory reset

Hi all

I have been suffering from low storage space on my HTC desire..........

Deleted loads but no improvement in space.

Phone HTC and they suggested a factory reset !

However I have taken ages set the phone set with applications and setting and don'y want to start all over again,

Is there any back up programme which will let me back to PC or SD card do the factory reset and then transfer all my applications, data and setting back ???

Would really appraciate again advice or comments

Try to clear all caches.

If you just reinstall everything then I'm not sure what will you gain, except you will of course get your cache cleared.

A factoryreset will not help you! Had the same problem as you and made a reset and yes it gave me about 15 Mb extra with all programs installed AND 5 more apps! (had about 30 Mb free)
BUT rapidly the memory just started to get smaller and smaller and after a few days the first program had to be uninstalled to give more space and the next day another - and the next day another...
It's all about data and cache that builds up in the programs...
Try searching after "SDK" it gives you the possibility to install more programs on the SD without rooting! ;-)
