Help No sound with gtalk video chat

OK so I can use the voice calling just fine. I can hear the person I am talking to and they can hear me. However when I use video chat the video feed is fine we can see each other but neither I nor the person I'm chatting with gets any sound. Anyone have any idea what is going on here?
Btw I'm rooted running 3.1 stock

I still can't find a solution to this. Any other video chat apps I can use that work from tablet to pc?

Well i have up on gtalk and went with Clearsea. At least it works...

I've got the same issue on the Nexus S.

Not rooted running Android 2.3.6.
Talk version 1.3.

It should be noted that using voice chat has the same issue: I can't hear anything.

I've only tried it when talking to a friend in the browser. They can hear and see me fine.

Since I don't have this phone or one available to tinker with I'm going to suggest you visit the nexus s section someone there may have a clue on what settings might need to be changed or whatnot.
