Root Can't install apps

After I rooted doing it the Odin Way, I am having problems installing apps... I was able to install them just fine yesterday but today nothing won't install and it's not automatically updating my emails being sent to me.... Also, it froze up on me so I held down the power button until it rebooted and was fine after...

How can I fix these things?

Sidenote: I also did the 3G increase but it doesn't seem much faster then what it was.

do you get any error message when you try to install apps? are you installing from market or from sdcard?

I have the same problem and it is both app from the market and sd card. It only happens when I allow google to sync my account and after allowing android market to update to the latest version. If you do not add an account to the phone you can continue to add apps but only using your sd card.

ARM v7 is the cpu architecture, or in simple terms how the cpu is built, our phones are ARM v6, so unless you figure out how to pull it apart remove the cpu and put a newer ARM v7 cpu in your SOL.

can someone please he'll me fix the error I keep getting. I get it anytime I ty to download something from the app market and it happened ed the day after I rooted.

Try doing a factory reset or installing the newest market

I've wiped the phone and rooted with odin 2-3 times and it seems whenever market is updated that is when the problems start. You can still install apps from the sdcard unless you upgrade market to the latest version, after that it will give you the same error.

I've had the same problem a few times and I have fixed it each time by rebooting the phone. It seems it has something to do with accepting the market terms. When I reboot it asks me to accept the terms a 2nd time for the new market and it works after that.

I would like to install apps by manually downloading them off the internet and puttiing it on the SD card and then install it to try and fix this problem.

edit: nevermind, I figured it out.. uninstalled the latest market and it worked again..

I would like to get flash on here if possible.. I would like to watch movies

edit again: it stopped working when it upgraded so I downgraded and it automatically updates so I guess I have to stop it from upgrading if I want it to stop not working?

Just curious what way did you use to root your phone and stuff? I have been plagued with this problem for days. It will go away after I reboot but it pops up again later. I used "EE14 ROOTED VERSION WITH CWM AND HROARKERNEL" maybe we can narrow it down to a certain method.

Edit: Its not that method I just used the EE14 stock and I am getting the same errors. I did a general google search about the problem and its not just limited to our phones and it looks like the problem has been around for a lil while now.

I had similar problem. After I uninstalled the android sync Wifi manager app, I can now install apps as expected.

Did you delete package installer?

I don't think I did...I mostly just deleted stuff I knew was useless. But truthfully, not really sure what a package installer is.

It's called packageinstaller.apk

You could always use http://androidforums.com/galaxy-pre...turn-phone-stock-factory-updated-11-09-a.html to restore your phone to stock (rooted, or unrooted) condition, and start over

What exactly did you do? You say you installed Odin... (on your pc i hope? Lol) and then what? Which image did you use? Did it restore the phone to a factory state? Did you follow the instructions EXACTLY in the OP?
