Suggest a phone for me? Don't have much experience with android devices.

well here's my deal, as I live in a part of the world, where not many phones are available and the prizes are strange, these are the phones in my prize range, I'm mainly going to use this phone, to watch live streams when I'm not home, and videos (youtube and the occasional movie), I listen a lot to music, so i'm going to use it as a mp3 player, play the occasional game and keep up with forums and such. here are the devices.

HTC Desire S (same prize as the others, but unlike the others doesn't come with any microSD card, making it the most expensive, since I need to buy that)

Samsung Google Nexus S

LG Optimus Black (best looking one imo and the cheapest out of the bunch, but I hear a lot of complaints about the battery and I hear that its also laggy)

Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo (although I worry about Xperia as I have read the battery life on almost all the Xperia seems to get a lot of complaints)

Samsung Galaxy S i9000 (ugliest out of the bunch, just imo, but they speak highly of it)

So any of you had some of these and can point me in the right direction?

Desire S - has more RAM than the others

Nexus S - its a bit of a downgrade from Desire S in terms of some features (camera quality etc), but its a nice phone itself.

LG Optimus Black - I really dont trust LG much. but thats just me

Xperia Neo - Nice phone, but about battery life, its a problem on ALL droids.

Galaxy S - has the best graphics processor among all the choices. by consensus its probably the best single core phone out there in terms of performance and has nice third party support as well.

The battle here is basically between the SGS and the Desire S, whether having a worse GPU with more RAM is better than better GPU and less RAM.

A better GPU is great for games, but won't work well unless you have great RAM. RAM goes further than GPU.

I actually think the choice is between Galaxy S, Nexus S & LG Black now... as Desire S is like 200$ more expensive then those, and I cant justify that with just a little bit more RAM i guess.

hmmmm seems I misunderstood something, Galaxy S comes with 2.1 eclair and able to upgrade to 2.2... I dont really want to buy a new phone that isnt able to get 2.3 gingerbread. I thought i read on sales page that it was upgradeble to 2.3...

so i guess between LG black and Nexus S then :/

That all depends on the application and most still don't use allot of memory, in fact the applications that tend to use the most memory are games and a fast GPU is allot more useful than memory in those circumstances so I don't agree that that at all.

I'm sure a time will come where Android games need over 256MB of available memory but that time is definitely not now.

Nexus S is a great phone if you can forgive the lack of microSD card slot and HD video recording, otherwise it's very simalar to the Galaxy S

Galaxy S is upgradable to gingerbread, might be different in certain regions but worst case you can flash the update yourself, it's very easy to do on the Galaxy S.
