Root Void warranty by rooting, eh? Even if I'm able to revert back?

So, that 11 bucks I'm paying per month to Best Buy for Black Tie service is useless if I root my Inspire?

Once you root, there is no going back? They will always be able to tell if its been rooted?

EDIT: guess it doesnt matter now....lol, I rooted and installed Android Revolution HD 6.1.0 last night!

But why do you *want* to return the phone? I have had 5 android phones now and the thought of returning them to Verizon or AT&T never entered my mind. Of course, I've always declined insurance and as for the warranty on each phone, I quickly rooted all five of the phones and forgot about the word Warranty.
