See my guide in root section. When rooting you can either try a stock or modified rom. Use helroz's app and my instructions to unlock it. If you are planning on rooting and using a stock rom with my guide make sure to download a rooted kernel that matches what you have currently on your phone and necessarily the one mentioned in the steps (see guide)
