One thing about TouchWiz 4.0 that a lot of people (and myself) hate...

In all the videos I have seen it wasn't a bit unresponsive at all. There are shortcuts for missed calls and messaging, as well as music player controls without having to unlock it, which I like a lot.

Well it seems harder to unlock than usual, almost every review of the SGS2 I've seen it takes more than one try to unlock the screen almost every time.

Does anyone has any link to pictures/video which shows the missed call/messages notification on lock screen on TW4.0!!! Does it still use jigsaw puzzle block sliders?

Here's a walkthrough:

and No it doesn't do the puzzle thing it's just a slider on the right side...

I honestly think it's good looking. I think most people think they can flick the lock screen away when you actually have to move it. It's a movement not a gesture. Like the Sense one. You actually have to move the ring and not flick it or move an app to the ring. There aren't that many lock screens in my opinion that look good and have good functionality. Some look good alone. Some have good features but are unattractive. Little are both. When you have an email or text, or even missed call it shows on the lock screen for the SGSII and you can slide to it. Assuming you missed that feature. Now just jumping to a favorite app from the lock screen is another thing. That's not a big issue. That's a personal preference. Cause even when I do want to only look at a certain app, I end up doing other things also. I love my phones that much.

I wonder how the lock screen integrates with Google Voice? Will it show missed voicemail or texts from the Voice application?

Since Voice is only an American product for now, we might not have the answer until we get it in the hands of a Voice user.

That's a good Queston. I'm sure these features are built in so the Google voice probably won't show as it would have to be built in that style of notification. I don't see it being to hard for a dev to pull off for a tweak. I'll rock touchwiz as I want to try it for a while then give my phone a sexy makeover with widget locker themes and launcher pro. Then November is my birthday so I'll get some ice cream (link below) with my cake, as I have a nexus s 4G and I look to get the next one to. I'm sure it'll be some Ports.

I have two words: widget locker :)

This. I even have a modified SGSII Widgetlocker theme ready to rock on my new phone:

You know...almost all video reviews show the reviewers jabbing at the screen and having to do it multiple times because they are in a rush at shows quite often. If you judge on this, every smartphone out there sucks big time when navigating their screens. The stock Touchwiz looks stupidly simple and uncluttered to me. While I am currently using a Touchwiz ROM with a lock ring and it looks really cool to some I suppose...it's kind of a royal pain in the ass at times as well.

Agree! When you watch reviews of people being so FAST and doing what they THINK of how it works, they make it look bad. The lockscreen doesn't flick away. Drag it away. I know of no lockscreen period for Android that flicks away like a gesture. They all are dag and slide motions in different ways if you think about it. I actually think TW4 is my new favorite alternative to Stock. I used to like Sense but it now is bloaty with an overkill of eye candy and no real innovative features. Just new ways to do what was already capable of being done on the version before. Everything takes up the entire screen and looks bubble like.

TW4 looks sharp and very user friendly with meaningful functionality. All in my opinion anyways. I don't hate Sense. It's just not what it was. I think they are heading in the wrong direction. If anything cool lately from HTC Sense, it was the endless scrolling on homescreens and the lockscreen. Things like that was built in alternative launchers, but still good to have native on a phone you buy. But what did it really have that expanded the user experience?
