Anybody make a case like this for the Droid?

If not, please consider this a formal request. I understand it will take away the sliding keyboard functionality, but I still want one. Honestly, I just like the idea of a slip over silicone case, as opposed to a snap on case. Any help where I can at least find a basic black slip over silicone case for the droid?

that's a pretty nice design, but I just don't like the idea of 'disabling' the keyboard :[

Understood, and I'm sure many won't. However, I don't use my keyboard very often, and would love a case like this. I don't like how the snap cases make it near impossible to take them off sometimes. A silicone soft cover/skin that easily stretches on/off would be a nice addition to the case market for the Droid.

Have you taken a look at the Seidio Innocase?

I ordered one a few days ago, it should be coming today. I didn't think it was a 'snap' kind of deal with it...maybe I'm wrong

The Innocase looks to be one of the best cases, but it is indeed a hard plastic case.

The OP says 'It snaps on just like the Body Glove case but it goes on much easier and pops off alot easier too. Can take the entire case off in 5 seconds without damaging the phone. The phone slides open almost as easily as before the case was installed.'

Good to know....now, if we could just bring down the price a little bit from $30. :D

I got my Innocase in the mail a week ago and it snaps on, but it is very easy to take off (when you want it off). I dropped my drop onto my carpeted floor a few times and the neither part has ever popped off. Yet, I can still take off the covers in 2 seconds.

I think its worth a look...

Before I ordered my Innocase from Seidio.com I looked into this, but what made me cough up the extra money was the fact that I would have had to wait 2 week before it got shipped out.

Great deal for people who are not impatient like me :D

ahaha! Me too actually. My phone, case, and Boxwave Screen Protector should be coming in all tomorrow =D
