This phone is FAR superior to the Samsung Droid Charge (my previous phone), with regards to the OS, the speed and how it acts.
The screen of the Samsung is far better than this one, but I can live without the "super amoled" screen that failed me anyway. The screen on the D3 is smaller, and the colors not nearly as vibrant, but I want stability, not something that looks only pretty when it works right.
I like the weight of this phone as compared to the Samsung. The Samsung felt cheap and plasticky. This has some robustness feel to it.
The fact it's Gingerbread means it works with the Bluetooth profile in my car so now I can be hands free! (used to have to toggle music in the car via phone which got me pulled over once).
Pictures DO COME OUT BLUE! So I will install a 3rd party app that you guys have posted about to fix that, or edit in Photoshop.... the app is easier.
Love the LED light.....
So far, this Droid3 gets thumbs up!
