Did any buy the case/holster that has the kickstand on back. Im trying to find out how thick it is. I loved my kickstand on my T-bolt since i would just have it propped up on my desk at work. If you have one please post a pic thanks.

I bought the one at Verizon store which i dont like.

Its too thick.

I am looking for just a belt clip.

The problem (in my mind) with the case is that it's made for the extended battery, so it's purposely thicker. But, like in my situation, I don't have the extended battery.

My shell/holster case for the Bionic fits in both my car dock and standard dock with the inserts removed. It has the kickstand which I find very useful and the case is not very thick but does have room in the back for the extended battery. That does not affect it fitting into the docks.

That case makes it soo much thicker/heavier, especially with the extended battery. I bet it's damn near a pound lol

The case adds a few grams of weight at most.

The part that makes it heavier is the battery with almost twice the capacity of the standard battery.

7.2 ounces (on a postal scale), including the shell & extended battery.

I must be the only one who got a shell (shell/holster combo) that doesn't fit in the car dock properly (with the insert removed). Either that, or I'm the only one concerned that forcing the phone into place so that the retaining latch will grab the phone is likely to damage USB connector on the dock, the phone, or both.

I've lost track of how many times I've mentioned this issue in similar threads, but have yet to see anyone agree with me.

The car dock has a plastic insert that slips into the dock area where the phone sits. If you have no case on the phone, the phone fits properly when using the insert. With many cases, you can remove the insert and have room to put it in the dock with the case on. My desk dock did not come with an insert. Did anyone get an insert with the desk dock?

My standard dock and car dock both had inserts which I removed to use with the shell holster case on. Both work well with the case on the phone.

The insert for the car dock comes in a separate bag, even though (in my case) it was almost in place. This made it very easy to identify the insert as a separate piece. The insert for the desk dock comes installed - so it may not be obvious that it's even there. Are you perhaps overlooking it?
